Angulocaste Anna Guseva

A fragrant hybrid of Angcst. Joiceyi and Lyc. Muromachi, bearing large, lily-like flowers of commanding presence. The rounded dorsal sepal arches forward above broad petals and long, spreading lateral sepals; a trilobed lip with an ornate dark-spotted callus and densely spotted lower lobe completes a flower of exceptional scale and refinement.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch the broad, strap-like leaves.
  • Temperature: 55–75°F (13–24°C); a Warm to Intermediate grower. A brief cool, dry rest after pseudobulb maturation encourages blooming.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; good air movement is essential to prevent fungal issues on the large foliage.
  • Watering: Water freely during active growth; reduce significantly during the dry rest period after pseudobulbs mature.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a medium to large pot with a coarse, free-draining mix (bark with perlite). Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
