Successful cultivation of the hybrid Anth. Andean Heart IC x Anth. besseae aff requires attention to the cultural needs of its parents. Here are some essential cultural tips to ensure its thriving growth:

• Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
• Temperature: Warm conditions with temperatures between 20-28°C (68-82°F) during the day and 18-22°C (64-72°F) at night. Protect from temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
• Humidity: High humidity is essential, maintaining levels between 60-80%. Use a humidifier, humidity tray, or terrarium to maintain adequate moisture.
• Watering: Keep substrate evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.

• It has a compact growth habit with leaves emerging from a central rosette.
• The leaves are heart-shaped and may exhibit a mix of unique coloration (from Anth. Andean Heart IC) and bright, glossy texture (from Anth. besseae aff), with prominent veining.
• Maintenance: Remove dead leaves and spent flower stems to keep the plant healthy and tidy. Wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust and maintain their appearance.
