Anthurium Crystal Papillon 'Inverse crossing'

Anthurium Crystal Papillon 'Inverse crossing'

A named hybrid with one of the most intense silver leaf tones in the collection. The large, rounded ovate-cordiform leaves display a deep, uniform grey-silver surface with a heavily bullate texture that captures light across every ridge — creating a dynamic, almost metallic visual effect that sets this plant apart from typical silver-leaf aroids.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Low and spreading; produces large rounded leaves on short, robust petioles that extend horizontally, creating a wide, compact canopy. Benefits from adequate horizontal space.

Additional Notes:

Bright silver-white primary venation radiates cleanly from the center against the grey-silver bullate surface. The 'Inverse crossing' designation indicates the parent cultivars were used in reverse order from the original Crystal Papillon cross. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
