This miniature, hot to warm growing epiphytic orchid originates from the lowland swamp forests of Southeast Asia. It features ovoid, yellow pseudobulbs and is known for its striking inflorescence: an umbel of 12 to 15 white or pale yellow flowers that emerge in a cluster resembling fireworks.
Due to its creeping growth habit, this orchid is best suited for mounting on cork slabs or growing in shallow baskets to allow the rhizome to spread. The unique flowers are known to open simultaneously in response to a temperature change stimulus.
