Anthurium After Midnight
Anthurium After Midnight Culture
The Anthurium After Midnight is an exceptional hybrid resulting from the cross between Anthurium altaverapazense and Anthurium luxurians. This stunning cultivar showcases dramatically textured, bullate (pillowed) leaves with pronounced venation patterns that create a mesmerizing quilted appearance.
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the delicate textured leaves and fade their distinctive patterns.
Temperature: Warm, stable conditions with temperatures between 21-27°C (70-80°F) during the day and not below 18°C (65°F) at night to maintain optimal growth.
Humidity: High humidity is essential, maintaining levels between 70-85% using humidifiers, pebble trays, or regular misting to support the development of the characteristic bullate texture.
Watering: Water when the top 3cm of substrate begins to dry. Maintain consistent moisture while ensuring excellent drainage to prevent root rot.
Additional Notes
Foliage Characteristics: The leaves display remarkable bullate (pillowed) texture with deeply impressed veins creating a quilted appearance that intensifies as the plant matures.
Size: This is amedium-sized plant, typically reaching up to45-60 cm (18-24 inches)in height.
Received a Gongora Aceras. Disappointed iin the quality of pant. Most pants I have received are maybe 1 to2 years from bloom. But, this pant appears to be a compot of small plants very tender, very small roots. (But healthy) Several years from blooming.
