Anthurium perangustum cf

Anthurium perangustum cf

A rare and elegant strap-leaved Anthurium from the perangustum group, offered under the 'cf' designation. The 'cf' designation means this plant looks very similar to Anth. perangustum but might have minor differences from the standard species. Prized for its exceptionally narrow, elongated foliage and graceful pendant habit, it is a standout specimen for collectors of rare strap-leaved aroids.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid direct sun exposure to prevent leaf scorch. Performs well near a filtered window or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: 65–80°F (18–27°C); protect from temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
  • Humidity: 60–85%; thrives with elevated humidity. A humidifier or pebble tray helps maintain optimal conditions.
  • Watering: Water when the top 1–2 inches of substrate are dry; ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot. Reduce frequency in cooler months.

Additional Notes:

Foliage is distinctively narrow and elongated, with a smooth, glossy texture and graceful arching form characteristic of the perangustum group. Plant in a well-draining aroid mix (bark, perlite, and coco coir). Fertilize monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season.
