This small epiphyte/lithophyte, is native to the Philippines, growing between 1000 and 1800 meters in altitude. It features clustered pseudobulbs with a single apical leaf and is considered a warm to cool growing species.

  • Light: Requires bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sun; filtered exposure (east or west) is ideal.
  • Temperature: Tolerates a wide range (warm to cool), but prefers temperatures between 60-80°F (16-27°C). Cool nights are important for its development.
  • Humidity: Needs high humidity (60%-80%). Maintain excellent air circulation to prevent diseases.
  • Watering: Water consistently when the substrate is about to dry out. Keep it consistently moist, especially during active growth.
