  • Light: Bright, indirect light; tolerates a few hours of gentle morning sun. Avoid harsh midday exposure.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm; daytime 65–82°F (18–28°C), nighttime 55–65°F (13–18°C). Protect from temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
  • Humidity: Moderate to high (50–70%) with good air movement to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly during active growth, allowing the medium to approach dryness before the next watering. Reduce frequency during cooler months to encourage blooming.

Additional Notes:

Flowers are large and showy, typically 4–6" across, with vibrant magenta-purple sepals and petals and a deeply veined, fringed lip. Spike count and bloom number per spike may vary between seedlings — collectors often find standout individuals among the siblings.
