This stunning cross between C. purpurata f. carnea and C. purpurata 'rubra' combines the soft blush tones of the carnea form with the dramatic, deep reddish-purple lip of the rubra clone, resulting in large, eye-catching blooms with exceptional color contrast. Easy to grow and highly sought after for the consistency of its coloration.
Additional Notes:
Flowers are large (4–6"), long-lasting, and typically produce 3 to 7 blooms per spike. The deep red to reddish-purple lip provides a striking contrast to the paler sepals and petals — a hallmark of the rubra influence in this cross.
