Ceratostema gualaquizensis Culture:

  • Light: Prefers bright, filtered light (similar to dappled forest sunlight); avoid harsh midday sun to prevent leaf scorch but ensure sufficient light for flowering.
  • Temperature: Thrives in cool to intermediate conditions (18–24°C / 64–75°F daytime, 10–15°C / 50–59°F nighttime), benefiting from a slight nocturnal drop to mimic its high-altitude cloud forest origins.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity (70–80%), achievable via humidifiers, pebble trays, or enclosed environments like terrariums.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate consistently moist but never waterlogged, reducing slightly in cooler months; use rainwater or distilled water if tap water is hard.

Additional Notes:

  •  Mimicking its natural cool, humid, and airy habitat is key to success!

It is a regular size plant in 4" pot.
