Laelia purpurata purple lip x Cattleya intermedia 'Aquimi' alba

It indicates a specific orchid hybrid created by crossbreeding Laelia purpurata with a Cattleya intermedia variety known for its white (alba) flowers. Orchid hybrids often combine characteristics from their parent plants, such as flower color, size, and form. In this case, the hybrid might produce offspring with unique qualities, possibly including a combination of traits from both parent plants. To successfully cultivate this hybrid, it's important to understand the care requirements for both Laelia purpurata and Cattleya intermedia and provide the appropriate conditions, including suitable light, temperature, humidity, and watering, to support its growth and blooming.

Nice plants

I love the cattleya from Ecuagenera US in Apopka, FL. I can spend all day wondering around just their orchid greenhouse, checking out each and every one. I've never been able to leave without something in my hands.
