Sobralia madisonii is a terrestrial or epiphytic species from Central and South America. This orchid is known for its strong, erect, cane-like growth and visually captivating flowers, thriving under intermediate conditions.
The plant is decorative both in and out of bloom, thanks to its bamboo-like foliage and robust, rapidly growing habit. Its strong, upright canes and pleated leaves are highly attractive. Individual blooms are short-lived (ephemeral), but they appear in succession, providing an extended floral display.
