More information

Lepanthes echo

A charming miniature species native to the cloud forests of southeastern Ecuador, this orchid features compact, caespitose growth with small, intricate flowers produced on successive racemes. Its delicate blooms and unique structure make it a highly sought-after gem for collectors of rare, miniature botanical specimens.

  • Light: Bright, diffused light; avoid direct sun, which can overheat the small leaves.
  • Temperature: 59–75°F (15–24°C); thrives in cool to intermediate conditions with good airflow.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; consistent high humidity is essential to mimic its natural cloud forest environment.
  • Watering: Maintain consistent moisture at the roots; use high-quality water and ensure the media remains damp but not stagnant.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a small pot with fine, well-draining media or mounted on a slab with a small pad of moss to retain moisture. Ships bare root and should be gently rehydrated in an intermediate-temperature environment before being established in its new home.
