This is a miniature epiphyte native to high-elevation areas in Brazil. It has no pseudobulbs, growing instead as a fan of slender, bright green leaves. This tiny plant is valued for its long, delicate spikes that bear numerous small flowers.
This orchid blooms with up to 10 small flowers (approximately 1/2 inch) on a drooping, 6-inch spike. The name "Golden" refers to the flower color, which is usually pale yellow or greenish with light flecks, creating a delicate cascade.
