Philodendron Golden Ring of Fire

Philodendron Golden Ring of Fire

A highly sought-after variegated hybrid renowned for its spectacular, deeply lobed leaves that emerge in vivid shades of orange, yellow, and chartreuse before maturing to rich green — creating a fiery, ever-changing display that makes it one of the most dramatic Philodendrons in cultivation.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is essential to maintain the vibrant golden and orange variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch leaves, and low light, which dulls coloration.
  • Temperature: Warm to intermediate conditions, 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from temperatures below 55°F (13°C) and cold drafts.
  • Humidity: Thrives at 60–80% relative humidity. A humidifier or pebble tray is recommended to sustain optimal growth and leaf quality.
  • Watering: Water when the top inch of substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix to prevent root rot; reduce frequency during cooler months.

Additional Notes:

Leaves are deeply pinnate with irregular lobing, and each new leaf unfurls in a different color combination, making every flush a unique event. Provide a moss pole or sturdy support to encourage larger, more dramatic foliage as the plant climbs.
