Phragmipedium Peruflora's Cirila Alca

Phragmipedium Peruflora's Cirila Alca Culture:

This outstanding primary hybrid, is a direct cross between two magnificent species: Phragmipedium kovachii and Phragmipedium dalessandroi. With a 50% genetic contribution from each parent, this orchid represents a perfect blend of their most desirable characteristics.

  • Light: Moderate, filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
  • Temperature: Intermediate temperatures of 18-24°C (65-75°F) during the day, dropping to 13-18°C (55-65°F) at night.
  • Humidity: High humidity between 60-80% with excellent air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Consistent moisture using a well-draining medium. Never allow the potting medium to dry out completely.

Additional Notes:

  • Floral Characteristics: Phragmipedium Peruflora's Cirila Alca produces stunning, large slipper-shaped flowers. It inherits the exceptional size from Phragmipedium kovachii and the vibrant, often sunset-hued colors from Phragmipedium dalessandroi, often displaying multiple flowers on a single spike.
