Aechmea manzanaresiana Culture

  • Light: Needs bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun which can burn the leaves.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures of 65-80°F (18-27°C) during the day and 59-68°F (15-20°C) at night.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity (50-70%). Mist regularly or use a humidity tray if grown indoors.
  • Watering: Fill the center cup with rainwater or distilled water, keeping it about 1/4 full to avoid mineral buildup.

Additional Notes:

  • Aechmea manzanaresiana produces a showy inflorescence with bright pink or red bracts and small yellow or white flowers. The inflorescence can last for several months, adding a dramatic touch to the plant.
