Aglaonema 'Fugui Red' is a stunning tropical hybrid from the Araceae family, prized for its bold, richly colored foliage. A cultivar of the beloved Chinese Evergreen, 'Fugui Red' features large, glossy leaves with vibrant red and pink tones set against deep green margins — a striking combination that brings intense tropical color to any interior space. Hardy, adaptable, and exceptionally easy to care for, it is one of the most rewarding foliage plants available for both home and office environments.
Care Guide
-
Light: Low to bright indirect light; tolerates lower light conditions well — avoid direct sun which can bleach or scorch the colorful foliage; better color develops in brighter indirect light
-
Temperature: Intermediate to warm; ideal temperatures 18–28°C (65–82°F); protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F)
-
Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings; water thoroughly then allow to drain; avoid waterlogging which can cause root rot
-
Humidity: Moderate to high humidity preferred, 50–70%; tolerates average indoor humidity but thrives with added moisture
-
Substrate: Well-draining, rich potting mix with good organic content; perlite addition improves drainage
Aglaonema 'Fugui Red' is the perfect combination of stunning color and effortless care.
