Andreettaea furcatipetala is a miniature. It is typically found in wet, montane forests at elevations of 2000 to 3000 meters. The plant has a creeping rhizome and small, ovate leaves that grow on erect ramicauls.

  • Light: Prefers shady conditions with low to medium, indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided.
  • Temperature: Cool to cold growing conditions are essential. The temperature should be between 10-18°C (50-65°F) during the day and 7-13°C (45-55°F) at night.
  • Humidity: High humidity, ideally between 70-80%, is crucial to replicate its native cloud forest environment.
  • Watering: Keep the roots consistently moist but not soggy. Allowing the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings is recommended.
