Anthurium acaule 7
A variety of Anthurium acaule. Here are some important cultural tips to ensure its thriving growth:
Light: Anthurium acaule 7 preferslow to medium indirect light. It thrives in shaded environments, similar to the understory of humid tropical forests. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
Temperature: This plant enjoys warm to intermediate temperatures. Ideal daytime temperatures range between 20-28°C (68-82°F), with nighttime temperatures around 18-22°C (64-72°F). Protect it from temperatures below 15°C (59°F), as it is sensitive to cold.
Humidity: High humidity is crucial for Anthurium acaule, ideally between70-80%. Use a humidifier, place the plant on a humidity tray, or grow it in a terrarium or enclosed environment to maintain adequate moisture levels.
Watering: Water regularly, keeping the substrateevenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering during the winter months when growth slows.
Additional Notes:
Anthurium acaule is a terrestrial plant, often found growing on trees or the forest floor in its native habitat. It has a stemless (acaulescent) growth habit, with leaves emerging directly from the root system.
Size: This is a small to medium-sized plant, typically reaching up to 30-50 cm (12-20 inches) in height. The leaves are lanceolate to elliptical, with a dark green color and a leathery texture.
packaged very, very well. I’ve never seen something packaged so secure. I just received my plant. It looks in perfect health but then again I just received it. Will definitely do an update.
I ordered plants from another company that have ended up upside down and damaged. Because you include the packaging immediately around the soil and then wrap it they arrived nicely. They seem to be adjusting and I have now transplanted them into terracotta pots.
