New leaves emerge in a striking golden-yellow that deepens to a rich, dark green with a heavily rugose surface at maturity.

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. A bright, filtered window or grow-light setup is ideal to enhance foliage development.
• Temperature: Intermediate to cool-growing — 58–75°F (14–24°C). Performs best with cooler nights and good air circulation.
• Humidity: 75–90%. Very high humidity is essential; use a humidifier for consistent results.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top layer of substrate begins to dry; use a well-draining, chunky mix to prevent root rot.
• Growth Habit: Terrestrial Aroid that develops a robust, upright form with age; appreciates stable conditions and minimal root disturbance.
