Successful cultivation of Anthurium bernalii requires attention to the following aspects:
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves. Generally, plants with corrugated leaves need more shade, meaning that out of 100% sunlight, they can receive 55% or 60%.
Temperature: Thrives in warm, humid temperatures typical of tropical climates. Ideal temperatures range between 15°C and 26°C (59°F and 79°F).
Humidity: Requires high ambient humidity. The use of humidifiers, frequent misting, or cultivation in terrariums may be necessary.
Watering: Keep the substrate consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
Additional Notes:
This species is characterized by its corrugated leaves, making it highly desirable for collectors.
It grows between 1500 and 2600 meters above sea level.
Was stuck in transit for 5 days. Roots arrived all rotted. Essentially paid for a rehab. Should've just paid for export prices instead. Highly doubt they would do anything since they didn't even bother helping with doing a mail search when the package was lost. I'm done purchasing from ecuagenera.
Received a Gongora Aceras. Disappointed iin the quality of pant. Most pants I have received are maybe 1 to2 years from bloom. But, this pant appears to be a compot of small plants very tender, very small roots. (But healthy) Several years from blooming.
