Anthurium Ecuagenera Jewel x Anth. forgetii

Anthurium Ecuagenera Jewel x Anth. forgetii

A collector-grade cross between Ecuagenera Jewel and Anth. forgetii, producing large, deep green cordiform leaves with a smooth, velvety finish and exceptionally bold white-silver venation. The primary and secondary veins stand out in sharp contrast against the dark blade, a defining trait inherited from forgetii.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright; produces broad cordiform leaves with open basal lobes. Benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.

Additional Notes:

Leaf surface is smooth and deep green with white-silver primary and secondary venation radiating clearly from the midrib — a strong expression of the forgetii parent. Individual variation between plants is expected in leaf size and venation intensity.
