Anthurium Luxury Jungle x Anthurium forgetii (seedling)

A seedling hybrid between Anth. Luxury Jungle and Anth. forgetii, where the dark, dramatic character of forgetii dominates from the very first leaves. The broad cordate blades display a deep near-black green tone with a heavily bullate, three-dimensional surface — a bold and moody foliage that already makes a strong statement at seedling stage.

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
• Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
• Growth Habit: Upright; produces large cordate leaves that already exceed the pot size at seedling stage. Benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.
• Maintenance: As a seedling, this plant benefits from stable humidity and temperatures. Avoid sudden environmental changes and repot only when roots are well established.

Additional Notes:

The heavily bullate surface creates a near-reticular pattern of raised secondary venation across the entire dark blade — a tactile and visual texture that intensifies with each new leaf. Primary venation is subtly visible in a slightly lighter green. New growth emerges in bright lime green before deepening to the characteristic near-black tone.
