More information

Anthurium pandurilaminum x Anthurium papillilaminum

Anthurium pandurilaminum x Anthurium papillilaminum

A hybrid between Anth. pandurilaminum and Anth. papillilaminum, two species with contrasting leaf forms. The result is a plant with remarkable foliar variability — leaves range from elongated and narrow to broadly bilobed or panduriform on the same plant, carried on long, slender petioles that give it an airy, architectural presence.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright and open; long petioles create a wide, airy silhouette. Benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.

Additional Notes:

The semi-glossy surface is clean and smooth with visible primary venation in lighter green. Leaf shape variation between individuals and between leaves on the same plant is characteristic of this cross and expected.
