Anthurium Pangui Star

Anthurium Pangui Star

A striking hybrid between Anth. Black Diamond and Anth. besseae aff, combining bold venation with warm, copper-toned new growth. The large cordate leaves display prominent cream-gold primary veins over a deep green velvety surface, while each new flush emerges in rich copper-bronze before maturing — a dramatic color contrast that makes every growth cycle a visual event. Offered at blooming size.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright; benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures to support its large, cordate leaves.

Additional Notes:

The cream-gold venation fans out prominently from the midrib across the velvety dark green surface — a pattern inherited from Anth. Black Diamond. The inflorescence features a long, gracefully curved spadix with a fine granular texture and a small yellow-pink spathe, adding ornamental value beyond the foliage. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
