Anthurium papillilaminum x Anthurium marmoratum 'Velvety'

This elegant primary hybrid combines the refined velvety foliage and elongated form admired in premium Anthurium collector plants. The leaves display a rich, deep green coloration with a smooth to velvety surface and clearly defined venation, giving the plant a sophisticated tropical appearance.

  • Light: Bright filtered light. This hybrid can tolerate up to 70% light intensity, but strong direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent leaf damage.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm tropical conditions, ideally between 20–30°C (68–86°F) with stable temperatures that encourage healthy growth.
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (60–80%), which supports optimal leaf expansion and overall plant vigor.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate slightly moist but well-draining. Avoid waterlogging while ensuring the roots do not dry out completely.

Additional Notes:

Foliage Characteristics: The plant develops elongated leaves with a rich velvety texture and visible venation. As the plant matures, leaf size and texture may become more pronounced, reflecting the ornamental traits inherited from both parent species.

Parent Species Highlights: This hybrid brings together these desirable features, creating a plant with enhanced visual appeal and strong collector interest.
