Anthurium Urban Jungle x Anthurium papillilaminum

A bold hybrid combining Anth. Urban Jungle and Anth. papillilaminum, two Anthurium heavyweights known for their large, velvety foliage. The result is a fast-growing plant with deep green cordate leaves, striking burgundy petioles, and the vigorous growth habit that collectors expect from both parent lines.

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
• Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix (bark, perlite, coco coir). Never let roots sit in standing water.
• Growth Habit: Upright to semi-climbing; benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.

Additional Notes:

Leaves are large and elongated-cordate with a subtly velvety, deep green surface and well-defined venation inherited from Anth. papillilaminum. New leaves emerge in bright lime green, maturing to a rich dark green. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
