Anthurium pendens 5

Anthurium pendens 5

This distinctive '5' variety represents an exceptional choice for enthusiasts and lovers of exotic plants, showcasing unique characteristics that distinguish it from the typical Anth. pendens group with its elegant pendulous form.

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, mimicking its natural epiphytic habitat. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm and consistent temperatures between 18-25°C (64-77°F). Protect from cold drafts.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity levels, ideally 60-80%, to maintain healthy foliage and prevent browning.
  • Watering: Keep the potting mix consistently moist but well-draining. Allow slight drying between waterings to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes

Foliage Characteristics: Anthurium pendens 5 has long, lance-shaped leaves with a smooth, leathery feel and clear parallel veins. Its distinctive drooping growth creates an elegant, strong structure.
