It is an impressive species with a most unusual leaf form, and one of the largest and fastest climbing varieties. Mature foliage is best described as lacy or frilly, each leaf can grow up to 3' long and wide when allowed to climb! Its pinnate lobed leaves have a leathery texture, glossy dark green on the surface with a semi glossy underside, sitting atop long petioles.
