As it matures, this species develops its signature arrow-shaped leaves with dramatically elongated, divergent basal lobes — a bold, architectural silhouette that becomes increasingly impressive with each new flush. The 'Purple' designation hints at the rich coloration that emerges in the petioles and new growth.

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
• Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
