Anthurium Shuar Soul 'Inverse crossing' x Anthurium Deborah Ward

A hybrid between Anth. Shuar Soul and Anth. Deborah Ward, combining two premium cultivars into a plant of exceptional foliage quality. The broad cordate leaves display a deep velvety green with a cool blue-grey undertone and clean white-cream venation — a refined pattern inherited from the Deborah Ward lineage, with a symmetrical, fan-like leaf arrangement that creates a highly decorative silhouette.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright and spreading; leaves fan out symmetrically from the center, creating a wide, balanced silhouette. Benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.

Additional Notes:

The lightly bullate surface enhances the contrast between the dark velvety blade and the prominent cream venation. The 'Inverse crossing' designation indicates the Shuar Soul parents were used in reverse order from the original cross. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
