Anthurium Shuar Soul x Anthurium Pangui Night

A hybrid between Anth. Shuar Soul and Anth. Pangui Night, notable for a striking color transformation with each new leaf. New growth emerges in a pale silver-green with prominent burgundy petioles, then gradually deepens to a dark velvety green as the leaf matures — creating a dramatic contrast between old and new growth on the same plant.

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
• Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
• Growth Habit: Upright; produces large cordate-elongated leaves on long burgundy petioles. Benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.

Mature leaves are elongated and narrow with a dark velvety surface — a trait inherited from Pangui Night. The burgundy petioles are consistent across all growth stages and add a strong ornamental accent. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
