Anthurium Sparkling River (Big)

A large-growing hybrid between Anth. sagittatum and Anth. luxurians, selected for its exceptional size potential. This cross develops broad leaves with a uniquely bifid apex — two rounded lobes at the tip that give each leaf an unmistakable silhouette. The bullate, deeply textured surface and the striking contrast between the dark green mature leaves and the blue-grey younger foliage make this a standout collector plant.

• Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
• Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
• Growth Habit: Upright; produces large leaves on long burgundy petioles. Benefits from a sturdy moss pole or totem as it reaches full size.

The bifid apex and bullate leaf texture are the defining traits of this hybrid — secondary venation is deeply impressed, creating a rippled, sculptural surface.
