Anthurium The Paradise Throne

Anthurium The Paradise Throne

A showstopping hybrid between Anth. Emerald Throne and Anth. Betsy Paradise, combining the bold, velvety foliage of both parents into one collector-grade plant. Its large cordate leaves display striking cream-gold venation on a deep green surface, while the reverse reveals a warm beige-gold underside with vivid copper-orange veins — a dual-sided spectacle rarely seen in hybrid Anthuriums.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright; benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures to support its increasingly large, wide-lobed leaves.

Additional Notes:

The cream-gold primary venation fans out dramatically from the center of each leaf, creating a pattern that intensifies as the plant matures. The open basal lobes and lime-green spathe with a textured spadix add further ornamental value. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
