Anthurium Wild Queen

Anthurium Wild Queen

A distinctive hybrid between Anth. Wild Arrow and Anth. warocqueanum with a wild, untamed character — long, narrow lanceolate leaves with a lightly bullate texture set it apart from typical cordate Anthuriums. Slender dark petioles and a vigorous, multi-stemmed growth habit give it an architectural presence that stands out in any collection.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright to arching; produces multiple leaves simultaneously, creating a full, bushy silhouette. Benefits from a moss pole as it matures.

Additional Notes:

Leaves are elongated and lance-shaped with a glossy, deep green surface and subtle lateral venation. New growth emerges in bright lime green, adding a vivid color contrast to the mature foliage. The slender dark petioles accentuate the leaf shape and add to its wild aesthetic. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
