The plant was fine, thank heavens. The shipping box, clearly marked 'FRAGILE' looked like it had been used as a wheel chock for one of the UPS trucks. The nursery pot was so flattened that it took on an oval shape. I am still attempting to discern how the plant survived. I'm going to chalk it up to luck and decent packing.
I've bought around forty anthuriums from Ecuagenera and they're all amazing specimens, but this one is possibly my favorite. When it arrived three weeks ago it was already a very large, robust, and beautiful plant, extremely velvety and deepest dark green. Since arriving, however, it has unfurled it's largest and most spectacular leaf of all! Truly a unit! Two pics attached, one about ten days after arrival, and the other tonight, 22 days after arrival. (I keep them outside but I brought it in for the photo this evening.)
This crazy-looking peltate little plant arrived in great condition and looking beautiful. I've had it about three weeks now and it's already putting out a new leaf! I really love the unusual leaf architecture on this one.
This is a gorgeous and unique plant to add to my growing anthurium collection! Shipping was super fast as usual and the plant was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition!
Ecuagenera has quickly become my favorite place to shop for plants!
