Encyclia naranjapatensis

Encyclia naranjapatensis is a relatively recently discovered and less common species of orchid native to Ecuador. It grows predominantly in the coastal regions of the country, thriving in dry forest environments. This orchid is notable for its charming and delicate flowers, which are typically small, with a greenish-yellow background accented by brown or maroon markings and a prominent, white or lightly colored lip. The petals and sepals are narrow and spread out, giving the flower a distinctive star-like appearance.
