It is a variety of the Epidendrum calanthum orchid species. Unlike the typical form with colorful flowers, this variety produces elegant white blooms. The alba variety still retains the distinctive structure of Epidendrum calanthum's flowers but in a more subdued and elegant color palette. Its care requirements are similar to the regular variety, needing bright indirect light, well-draining soil, and appropriate humidity levels. Regular watering and occasional feeding during the active growing season support its healthy development. This variation offers a refreshing twist on the classic Epidendrum calanthum, making it a sought-after choice for orchid enthusiasts.
The quality of this moss is very good and equally comparable with masses from other South American countries. The cost is reasonable and the promptness of the shipping very good. My second time buying from this business, and will definitely continue to do so.
I’ve order a lot of orchids and plants from this company. Most have been decent, some beautiful, and some terrible. This plant is super small and has no blooms on it. Not even a spike starting so will be a while before I can see its beautify.
I love the cattleya from Ecuagenera US in Apopka, FL. I can spend all day wondering around just their orchid greenhouse, checking out each and every one. I've never been able to leave without something in my hands.
