This excellent choice for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts offers low-maintenance care requirements while providing consistent visual appeal throughout the year.

  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain optimal variegation. Can tolerate lower light conditions but may lose some variegation. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures between 18-26°C (65-79°F). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F).
  • Humidity: Adapts well to average household humidity but appreciates levels of 40-60%. Increase humidity during dry periods with humidity trays or regular misting.
  • Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Maintain consistent moisture during growing season but allow slight drying between waterings.
