Hoya nummularioides

Hoya nummularioides

Hoya nummularioides is a charming trailing species with distinctive coin-shaped leaves and delicate star-shaped flowers in perfect spherical clusters of pale lavender-white blooms with soft pink centers.

  • Light: Provide bright, indirect light for optimal growth and abundant flowering. Can tolerate some direct morning sunlight, but protect from harsh afternoon rays that may damage the delicate foliage.
  • Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-24°C (65-75°F). Tolerates slight temperature variations but protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
  • Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity levels of 50-70%. Higher humidity promotes better flowering and prevents leaf stress during dry periods.
  • Watering: Allow soil to dry out between waterings as the succulent-like leaves store water efficiently. Water thoroughly when the top 2 inches of soil are dry, ensuring excellent drainage to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes:

Small, round coin-shaped leaves with thick succulent texture create an attractive cascading effect. Exquisite flower clusters form perfect spherical arrangements with subtle, sweet fragrance.
