Lycaste Enric Furriols

A striking hybrid of Lyc. Reina Del Cisne and Lyc. Sagano, distinguished by broad, triangular flowers in rich rose to reddish tones. Pale inner petals frame a deeply colored lip, creating a bold contrast at the center of each bloom.

• Light: Bright, indirect light with protection from strong midday sun. An east-facing window or lightly shaded greenhouse is suitable.
• Temperature: Cool to intermediate-growing; aim for daytime temperatures of 65–78°F (18–26°C) and nights of 50–60°F (10–16°C). Avoid prolonged heat.
• Humidity: Maintain 60–80% humidity with gentle, continuous air movement.
• Watering: Water thoroughly during active growth, keeping the mix evenly moist but never waterlogged. Allow the surface to approach dryness between waterings, and reduce watering as growth slows without letting the pseudobulbs shrivel.

Additional Notes:

Pleated green leaves emerge from pseudobulbs, forming an upright clump with flowers carried on separate basal stems. Use an airy, moisture-retentive orchid mix and repot as new roots begin to develop. Flower shape and coloration may vary among individual plants.
