This striking color form of Masd. caudata produces distinctive flowers with exceptionally long, thread-like sepaline tails that can extend several times the length of the flower body, creating a dramatic and elegant display.
Additional Notes
This 'dark' form is particularly prized by collectors for its deeper pigmentation and the extraordinarily long tails characteristic of the species. Best grown mounted on tree fern or cork bark to allow the long tails to hang freely, or in small pots with fine-grade bark mix or sphagnum moss.
