Philodendron Jorge's Legend

A hybrid of Phil. pinnatilobum aff × Phil. heterocraspedon, two robust Philodendron species from the cloud forests of South America. It produces large, broadly ovate leaves with a smooth, leathery texture and prominent primary venation that arches gracefully toward the undulating margins.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the large leaf surface.
• Temperature: 60–80°F (16–27°C); an intermediate-warm grower that thrives with stable, humid conditions and no cold drafts.
• Humidity: 60–80%; higher humidity encourages vigorous leaf expansion and maintains the smooth, glossy texture.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of substrate dries out; avoid prolonged saturation and never allow the roots to sit in standing water.
• Growth Habit: A vigorous, semi-climbing hybrid that inherits the broad architectural foliage of Phil. heterocraspedon and the adaptable, fast-growing nature of Phil. pinnatilobum aff, making it well-suited to both mounted and potted culture.
