It is a distinctive and less common member of the Philodendron family, prized for its captivating foliage. Originating from the Nangaritza Valley in southern Ecuador, this plant's elongated, lance-shaped leaves are a visual masterpiece, showcasing intricate silver or cream-colored veining against a backdrop of deep green. This exquisite coloration and pattern create an eye-catching display, making Philodendron nangaritense a sought-after choice among plant enthusiasts and collectors. To keep it thriving, provide bright indirect light and well-draining soil, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. With its unique and elegant appearance, this philodendron adds a touch of tropical allure to indoor spaces, making it a cherished addition to any botanical collection.

Suffered from major rot

Bought this plant at a local show. It was beautiful- big leaves and a great sugar-dotted stem. However it failed to thrive very soon after bringing it home, then suffered major root rot. It's now a bare stem that I am crossing everything will come back to life. Ecuagenera has some great varietals, but be prepared to face some heart break.

Big and beautiful

Another winner from Ecuageneraus. This plant was big and beautiful and packed to perfection. Can always count on a healthy, well grown plant. Great pricing as well. Thank you!
