It is a plant in the genus Philodendron native to the Chocó region of Colombia. It is one of the most stunning and magnificent species in the genus. It is an appressed-climbing epiphyte. Leaves are pendent on adult plants. Petiole is firm, terete, sulcate at base. Leaf blades are ovate-lanceolate to elliptic, subcordate or rounded at base, cuspidate at apex, subcordate at base, thinly coriaceous, dark green and concolorous, matte above, glossy below, somewhat quilted in age
Those are small or seedling size plants.
Really happy with this plant! Came in with several really large leaves (for a seedling) and was putting out another one in the cardboard box while shipping lol. Acclimating great to ambient humidity and no pest issues so far.
He is gorgeous! Three leaves ranging from about 12 to 20 inches long and one just starting to peek out. The deepest, prettiest green! There are some brown leaf edges but other than that, perfect. Shipped with care in moss/perlite mix which was still wet - not moist but wet! He did not move the way he was secured! This is not small enough to be what I would call a “seedling” but I’m happy. I prefer the babies but this guy has definitely stolen my heart. Thank you Ecuagenera!
Arrived quickly and in great condition.
Ordered as my first order from this nursery and was pleasantly pleased with the size and condition of my newest addition to my indoor jungle!
The plant only had 2 leaves, which was disappointing. Otherwise it seems to healthy and in good condition.
I had been wanting one of these orchids ever since learning of this genus. It arrived quickly, in good condition and a nice size plant. The potting media ( bark/perlite mix ) had managed to come out of the pot mostly but I just put it back in no problem
This plant rocks. Much bigger than expected and it has super pretty variegation. It is acclimating well so far to ambient humidity and I haven't found any plant issues.

I said some trepidation when I saw a cardboard box in a snowdrift next to my garage. It's been a brutal winter in Northeast Ohio. Upon opening the package I found a sturdy phragmipedium with no mechanical or thermal damage. It has been a few weeks and the plant is healthy and doing well.
