Philodendron plowmanii x Philodendron sodiroi cf (Big)

A rare hybrid between Phil. plowmanii and Phil. sodiroi cf, producing broad, deep green heart-shaped leaves with prominent venation and reddish-purple petioles. The 'cf' designation means this plant looks very similar to Phil. sodiroi but might have minor differences from the standard species.

• Light: Bright indirect light; tolerates moderate light but develops larger, more impressive leaves with better brightness. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
• Temperature: Warm-growing; thrives between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C) and cold drafts.
• Humidity: High humidity preferred, ideally 60–80%. Higher humidity encourages larger, more lustrous leaf development.
• Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist but never waterlogged. Allow the top inch to dry slightly between waterings. Ensure excellent drainage.
• Growth Habit: Terrestrial to semi-creeping grower inherited from the plowmanii parent. Spreads along the soil surface rather than climbing — best displayed in a wide, shallow container where its spreading rosette can be fully appreciated.
