Philodendron pseudoverrucosum is a captivating species within the Philodendron genus, celebrated for its ornamental foliage that exhibits unique characteristics. The name 'pseudoverrucosum' suggests a resemblance to the warty or textured surface commonly associated with Philodendron verrucosum, with 'pseudo' meaning 'false' or 'similar to'. This implies that while it shares some visual traits with verrucosum, such as potentially textured leaves or stems, it remains distinct in its own right. Like its philodendron relatives, it's well-suited for indoor cultivation, thriving in warm, humid environments with indirect sunlight. The leaves of Philodendron pseudoverrucosum are likely large and richly colored, adding to its appeal as a houseplant. It would require regular watering and well-draining soil, common to the care of philodendrons, making it accessible for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts. Its potential for unique leaf texture and easy care needs make Philodendron pseudoverrucosum a desirable addition to indoor plant collections, offering a touch of tropical lushness and visual interest to living spaces.

Gorgeous Lush and Well Established

I had previously ordered this plant and was sent the CF and received no response when I let them know via email. I liked the CF and decided I would keep it and not pursue the error on my order. This time I decided to order this at the same time as ordering a CF thinking hopefully I would get the true plant this time around. Well, I am happy to say it was the correct plant, and it is a nice full, lush specimen with great roots to boot! Packing this time was also way better than any of my numerous orders. I am very pleased this time and everything in my order gets 5 stars :D

Did not receive pseudoverrucosum

Ordered on 10/30/2022 during a sale for $55. The plant arrived on 11/4/2022. While the plant tag said pseudoverrucosum, it is obviously the plant Ecua markets as "pseudoverrucosum cf", a dead ringer. If I had been ordering "pseudoverrucosum cf" I would have been thrilled with the product as the plant I received was a great looking and healthy plant. I notified ecua the day I received it (11/5/2022) of the issue with pics and links, and they have yet to respond as of 11/20/22. It also now too cold where I live to do anything. This is not the first time they have ever failed to respond to me after sending the wrong product. I am giving one star here for these reasons: 1) wrong plant with wrong labeled recieved 2) paid full price for the specimen I received even though it had been on sale as well, 3) no response from Ecua due to the issue, and 3) not the first time I have experienced this issue ordering from Ecua USA.
