Discover me in the Nursery:
A rare and architecturally striking tropical aroid named for its most distinctive feature: petioles densely covered in wart-like tubercles (verrucose). The large, elongated cordate leaves in deep dark green with a subtly quilted surface and prominent secondary venation add to its bold, textural presence — with new leaves emerging in bright lime-green before maturing to deep green.
Additional Notes:
The verrucose (warty/tuberculate) petioles are the defining and most tactilely unique feature of this species — a rare trait in the Philodendron genus. Leaves are large, elongated-cordate with a deep sinus and prominent venation. Fertilize lightly during the growing season with a balanced, diluted fertilizer.
