• Light: Bright indirect light; essential to bring out the full depth of both the red new growth and the velvety green mature foliage. Avoid direct sun.
• Temperature: Intermediate to cool-growing; prefers 60–75°F (15–24°C). Protect from heat above 85°F (29°C) and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
• Humidity: High humidity essential — maintain 70–90%. A humidifier or enclosed growing space is strongly recommended, especially at the seedling stage.
